Emily + Ned's sweet Southern Wedding, May 26th, 2013 at 701 Whaley, Columbia, SC
Emily + Ned had been together for seven years before getting married this past May at the 701 Whaley in Columbia, SC. After years in a long distance relationship, they finally ended up in the same city when Emily joined Ned at USC in Columbia four years ago. They have since moved to Los Angeles to pursue their dreams as a newly married couple but they both knew they wanted their wedding to take place in South Carolina. They made sure to have elements of the South at their wedding like Arnold Palmers, barbecue, and a warm laid-back, southern atmosphere. They made most of the decorations themselves so that everything would reflect them and their style. Emily said she really love the way her little pie topper flags turned out and that the dancing was probably what stood out to her the most at their reception. With so many different groups of people invited to their wedding, what they all had in common is that they loved to dance. "Being surrounded by all our favorite people on the dance floor, we just could not have been happier" she said. "It was an unforgettable, amazing night!"
